How to Stay on Disney Property for $90/Night (Even in Peak Summer Season!)

Here’s a quick post to share how I booked two nights at an on-property Disney resort for only $90/night – in peak summer travel season!

I was able to get us discounted rooms at Disney’s All Stars Music Resort for two nights in June with one of my favorite money-saving strategies – using Orbitz promo codes in conjunction with Disney World discounts!

Save 15% on select hotels: JETSETTER

Orbitz regularly releases 15% off promo codes for hotel stays booked on their sites. These codes frustrate lots of people because they can not be used for bookings at any major hotel chain. But they DO apply to Walt Disney World Resort hotels!

I used a 15% promo code on a room that was already discounted (thanks to a Disney World discount, which are automatically applied on the Orbitz site) and got our stay for $90/night plus tax.

There are a few extra steps involved to link an Orbitz reservation with your My Disney Experience account, but the saving is usually worth it to me! You can read all about how to book Disney resorts on Orbitz in this post.

The best part about booking through Orbitz is that you still get all of the benefits of staying at a Disney resort! You’ll get free transportation to and from the airport as well as around Disney World. I estimate that this saves about $90/night in transportation costs – you can read all of the nerdy details in this post!

You’ll also get Magic Bands for every member of your travel party, access to Extra Magic Hours, the ability to book FastPasses 60 days before your trip, and more valuable perks.

And while the accommodations at Disney’s Value resorts aren’t fancy, they are comfortable and convenient! You’ll find clean rooms with two double beds, fun pools, food courts with lots of choices, and nicely themed grounds.

I hope this post helped you see that it’s possible to travel to Disney on a tight budget, even in the peak summer months. If you have any questions about booking discounted Disney resort stays using Orbitz, please leave a comment below!

We go to Disneyworld 3-4 times a year and we live in Ohio. We don’t have a BJ’s so we buy all our cards at either Target or Sams. One thing about Target you used to buy a Target Giftcard and save 5% and then you turned around and bought a Disney Giftcard and saved another 5%. Now Corporate office has put a stop to buying Target Giftcard and then buying Disney giftcards. Also, Target also sells $100 Disney giftcards but sometimes you literally have to ask if they have them. I like Sams more than Target because they have a $500 Giftcard there. It makes it a lot easier when your paying your $2000 Disney trip and your have 4 $500 giftcards compared to 20 $100 to combine or 40 $50 giftcards. Also, you can get a $500 Giftcard at Sams for $484.98.
