on August 2, 2018

I was compensated for this post but all opinions are my own.

If you are a food lover like me, meal times are the highlights of your day.

Instant Pot Ham & White Bean Soup

on April 22, 2018

Like many of you, I am IN LOVE with my Instant Pot (generic version, not sure what but it works).

I’m been trying out tons of recipes I used to make in my crockpot and I get a huge thrill when what used to take half a day is ready in like 20 minutes.

The recipes that have turned out best so far have been soups and chilis. I guess it’s because they have plenty of liquid to help the pressure cooker get up to pressure without any issues. Read more...

DIY Foaming Hand Soap {Don’t Buy Soap For YEARS!}

on January 3, 2017

I’ve made my own foaming hand soap for most of the past year and I’m finally getting around to sharing this with y’all… sorry it has taken me so long!

I learned somewhere on the web last year that “foaming hand soap” is actually just watered-down liquid soap that foams due to a special dispenser. Mind. Blown.

I tested this out and lo-and-behold, it appears to be true. Our homemade soap still gets our hands clean, and I haven’t bought soap in a very long time! Read more...

Pumpkin, Pecan, & Cinnamon Chip Muffins

on October 9, 2016

Here is a quick recipe for some pumpkin muffins in case you are pumpkin obsessed like I am. I suggest pairing these with a homemade pumpkin spice latte and enjoying every moment of the fall (my favorite season, of course!)

The pecans and cinnamon chips make these muffins pretty irresistible. They are also super moist (which means they can turn soggy), so I suggest keeping them covered with a kitchen towel instead of sealing them up to store them. Read more...
