I’ve been using this marinade for years and I love it. This recipe make a large batch, enough to fill a quart mason jar. I’ve always just kept it on the shelf and never had any issues. So I guess refrigeration is optional! 😉
When I have some steak, boneless pork chops or chicken thighs I place them in a Ziploc bag, dump some marinade in, wait a few hours, then grill!
Adapted from Blazing BBQ Sauce or Marinade.
Best Marinade for Chicken, Steak and Pork
Ingredients
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1/3 cup lemon juice
- 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons mustard powder
- 2 tablespoons salt
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a quart size mason jar or similar container.
Place a tight-fitting lid on top and shake until all ingredients are combined.
I suggest marinating meat for at least one hour and up to overnight.
