This month I started a quest to read every Caldecott Medal-winning picture books with my four-year-old daughter.
Some of my favorite children’s books have won the Caldecott Medal (namely The Snowy Day and Where the Wild Things Are) but there are so many that I haven’t read.
We sometimes get into a rut with the books we check out from the library so I thought this would be a good way to mix it up!
I put together this one-page checklist of the Caldecott Medal books from 1938 – 2017 for us to use, so of course I am sharing it with y’all.
Maybe it will help you discover some new favorites to read with your kids! Click here to download your free printable.
If you want to get some for your own collection, you can find many of the winners and honor books at Amazon.
