It’s pretty easy to earn credits on Amazon that you can use towards eBooks, music downloads, and video rentals or purchases.

The trick is knowing what credits you have and actually using them!

What are Amazon digital credits?

Choose FREE Amazon Day Delivery for fewer boxes and a $2 digital credit
Amazon sometimes offers credits as a thank-you for choosing No-Rush shipping or Amazon Day Delivery.

These credits are automatically applied to your account after your item ships.

You’ll get an email notification when the credit has been applied to your account.

They can usually only be used on digital products such as ebooks, music, movies, or apps. They’re called Amazon mp3 credit or just promotional credits on Amazon.

How do I earn these credits?

When you go to the checkout page on Amazon, you will sometimes see a banner with an offer for a digital reward if you select No-Rush Shipping or Amazon Day delivery.

Amazon offers digital rewards to encourage you to have items delivered together or shipped at a slower pace.

This in turn saves Amazon money on shipping costs.

So if you don’t need your item right away, I suggest opting for No-Rush or Amazon Day delivery and start racking up digital rewards!

When you select a slower delivery you’ll see a confirmation that they will automatically apply a digital award to your account when the order ships.

You will also receive an email from Amazon once your item ships confirming that they’ve added the credit to your account.

If you have any credits on Amazon they will automatically be applied to reduce the cost of your digital item at check-out!

In this way, Amazon digital credits and Amazon mp3 credits are very easy to use.

    1. @R van,

Thank you! I check my gift card balance on this section when returning items to my Amazon account but apparently missed the no rush rewards. Very helpful!

  1. Is there an easy way to find which e-books are eligible to spend promotional balance on? They sure to make it hard to use these credits.

  2. Thank you! I have wasted many points because they make it so difficult to find them!
Will now save bookmark and never miss out again.

  3. FYI: if your Prime membership expires or you don’t renew for whatever reason the credits will disappear before the expiration date. just lost $6 because my yearly expired and I didn’t renew it right away because I was going out of town for a few weeks and hadn’t been ordering much anyway, didn’t even think to use them first, oh well, mostly been using Libby for ebooks anyway

  4. If you’re on the Amazon app, sign in – on the bottom of the page tap the icon that looks like a person- on thr banner near the top, tap account – scroll down to the payment section and you will find no-rush rewards. If you login thru a browser, tap account- scroll down till you see shopping programs and rentals – look for no- rush rewards summary.

    1. @Michael, Thank you, I didn’t want to have to keep googling and clicking links to get to the page, just want straight forward instructions!
