How to check your Amazon promotional credit plus everything you need to know about using your digital credits!

It’s pretty easy to earn credits on Amazon that you can use towards eBooks, music downloads, and video rentals or purchases.
The trick is knowing what credits you have and actually using them!
This post will answer all of your questions about earning and using Amazon promotional credit in one place.
What are Amazon digital credits?

Amazon sometimes offers credits as a thank-you for choosing No-Rush shipping or Amazon Day Delivery.
These credits are automatically applied to your account after your item ships.
You’ll get an email notification when the credit has been applied to your account.
They can usually only be used on digital products such as ebooks, music, movies, or apps. They’re called Amazon mp3 credit or just promotional credits on Amazon.
How do I earn these credits?

When you go to the checkout page on Amazon, you will sometimes see a banner with an offer for a digital reward if you select No-Rush Shipping or Amazon Day delivery.
Amazon offers digital rewards to encourage you to have items delivered together or shipped at a slower pace.
This in turn saves Amazon money on shipping costs.
So if you don’t need your item right away, I suggest opting for No-Rush or Amazon Day delivery and start racking up digital rewards!

When you select a slower delivery you’ll see a confirmation that they will automatically apply a digital award to your account when the order ships.
You will also receive an email from Amazon once your item ships confirming that they’ve added the credit to your account.
How do I use Amazon promotional credit?
If you have any credits on Amazon they will automatically be applied to reduce the cost of your digital item at check-out!
In this way, Amazon digital credits and Amazon mp3 credits are very easy to use.
How do I check my Amazon digital credits?
Have you ever tried to find out if you have any promotional credits for Amazon Video or Music and had a terrible time finding out?
That’s because it is virtually impossible to find from your Amazon Account home page (or anywhere else for that matter).
However it is possible to check how much credit you have before you make a digital purchase.
Here is a handy link to check your account for promotional credit from selecting Amazon Day delivery or from other means.
Notice that this page will also tell you when your promotional credits expire!
Here you will see your Amazon promotional credit for the following:

- Amazon Appstore apps

Thank you!!! Worked and appreciated!!
Search for “No-Rush Shipping” in the Amazon search box & it showed a link just under the search box.
It’s extremely obvious that Amazon wants to make it hard to find.
Also the rewards for no rush shipping expire after a couple months.
It’s not under Digital Services etc.

@Bolt Upright, it’s under Your Account, payments, No-Rush Reward Balance.
@Charlotte S Goodrum, no… not for me. Direct link in this article, or doing what @Bolt Upright suggested. Of course you have to remember to type in “No-Rush Reward” specifically. Common phrases like “Reward Balance” or the multitude of similar phrases that are ‘suggested’ in the search field don’t get you there. I agree with @Bolt Upright, Amazon wants to make it hard to find. You’ll forget about them and they’ll expire in a few months. WIN/WIN for Amazon.
@Charlotte S Goodrum, Not for me, but did find under the app on my phone.
Thank you! I could not find this information when looking on Amazon, and other advice on how to find were of no help. Your link worked and I can now easily see when my credits expire.
@Marianne, it’s under Your Account, Payments, No-Rush Reward Balance.
@Charlotte S Goodrum, There is no Payments under Your Account, unless I missed it. the direct link provided is the only way I find to find this info. Amazon is devious. They want you to take the slower delivery but then make it impossible to find your digital balance.
Thank you! Not only did I bookmark this page, but I set a reminder (with the link to this page) on my calendar to check my credit balance in a few weeks. I may set that reminder to repeat every couple of months so I don’t lose any credits, and then I’ll have handy access to this page. Again, thank you for sharing this!!
Thanks for this.
I have frequently received those credits for choosing a non rush delivery date and never used any. I just looked ans was frankly shocked to see I had a total of 1 cent??? And a message that said that penny disappears on Dec 15 if I don’t use it!
Now I am wondering what happened to all my credits
@Ron, credits are automatically applied to digital purchases such as movies and kindle books in a somewhat subtle way — I used many without knowing it.
Thank you, works for me too.
100% works, thanks Leah.
I found a link. you gotta go searching within prime video, but it does work so you can see your prime video credits
