One of my go-to strategies to save on everyday expenses is to use discounted gift cards for purchases. I regularly use them to buy craft supplies at Michaels, home improvement supplies at Home Depot, and date night dinner at P.F. Changs.
Paying for these expenses with discount gift cards means I save saving myself an easy 10-25% on stuff I’m buying anyway. It is such an easy way to save money, especially when you get in the habit of searching for discount gift cards before you make a purchase.
Raise.com is one of the sites I used to find discounted gift cards. People can sell their unwanted gift cards there – they get cash for their cards and you save on the gift cards you want! It’s definitely a win-win.
If you are new to Raise.com, you’ll get $5 off your first purchase of $50 or more when you sign up here (this is my referral link). Keep in mind you can purchase mulitple gift cards from different stores – your total purchase just has to be over $50 to get your $5 free.
