My 2019 Goals + Word of the Year

My 2019 Goals & Word of the Year! Why I picked abundance as my word of the year and my personal and blogging goals for 2019.

We are well into 2019 and I’m finally getting around to sharing my goals and word for this year with you!

Last year my word was enrich, and I feel like it really focused my efforts on the blog and in my personal life.  As part of my enrichment I read the book You Are A Badass At Making Money and had my eyes opened to the sad state of my money mindset.

I realized that I often dwell on what I don’t have, as opposed to what I already have all around me. The fact is, my life is full of riches – my health, my family, my incredible job, a great place to live, friends, etc.

So this year I am choosing to dwell on the abundance that is is already in my life and that is everywhere in this amazing world we live in. I truly believe that I will get more of whatever I focus on, so here’s to abundance in 2019!

My 2019 Goals

I set goals every year and like to share them publicly to a) keep me accountable and b) so I can easily reference them myself.

Here are my goals for my business and personal life for 2019:

ð        Travel to 3 new places

ð        Spend 1 hour quality time with my daughter daily

ð        Overnight trip with my husband

ð        Homeschool schedule/plan for fall

ð        Dentist visit

ð        Pay off ALL consumer debt! This will feel so good.

My overarching business goals are to double my income and help more people live out their dreams on a limited budget. Here’s how I plan to do it:

ð        Triple my Google traffic by mastering keyword research

ð        Get my second site The Budget Mouse on my ad network (already accomplished this week!)

ð        Launch my course to help Disney first timers plan an incredible trip on a budget

ð        Nurture my podcast and Facebook group to build my community

ð        Attend a travel blogging conference

I’d love to hear about your goals for this year and I hope reading about mine benefitted you in some way. Please leave a comment below or email me at leah@thefrugalsouth.com to share your goals and get encouragement!
