Click the image above to get this year’s FREE Disney Parks vacation planning video! It’s easy to watch online and get a bunch of free planning advice straight from the Mouse himself.

I watch this video every year (yes, I’m a total nerd) and it always has lots of great information on planning trips. The sections on My Disney Experience, MagicBands, and FastPass+ are especially helpful.

This year I’m watching the video for Disneyland, because I hope to make my first trip there before the end of the year!

    Hi Leah,

The images regarding the Free Disney Parks vacation planning video aren’t showing up hence I can’t click on them.

I just wanted to add that I’ve just starting following your blog and have found it most valuable for planning our trip in 2019. I’m in Australia and wondering is there anything you could add regarding international travellers?

Hi Jodie! I’m sorry the image wasn’t showing up for you… I believe they only offer a certain number per day, and when it has reached the limit they stop showing the image.

How exciting that you are coming to WDW in 2019! A few things I know about international travelers… if you stay at a Disney resort, you will have to pick up your MagicBands at the front desk when you arrive since they can’t be shipped to Australia. Also, you definitely CAN take the Magical Express to/from the airport to your resort. I love that Disney provides transportation so you don’t need to worry about renting a car in a foreign country (which I find intimidating). You can also get around with Uber or Lyft (here’s my post on using those at Disney: https://www.thefrugalsouth.com/using-uber-lyft-walt-disney-world/)

I’d also look into having a credit card on file with your Disney resort that doesn’t charge a foreign transaction fee… that might not be a thing for Australian cards but it is something to consider when traveling abroad for folks from the US.

      Thanks so much for reading!
