Earlier this week Disney Parks Blog released the first details and concept art for the new Frozen-themed attraction in Epcot’s Norway pavilion.

The attraction will be called “Frozen Ever After” and will use the existing Maelstrom ride track to transport guests to Arendelle and Elsa’s ice palace. There will also be a character meet and greet location with Elsa & Anna called “Royal Sommerhus” as well as an expanded exterior of the Norway pavilion. While I will miss Maelstrom I am excited to see what Disney Imagineers can do with these new attractions!

Maelstrom was one of my favorite attractions, and I miss it! However, I am looking forward to “Frozen Ever After!”

I agree, Laura, I really loved Maelstrom. I hope they can retain some of the character and charm of that attraction in Frozen Ever After.
