One way to save money at Disney World is to buy your souvenirs before you leave home and avoid the exorbitant prices in the parks. It is common to see t-shirts for $29.99 and a pack of pencils for $8.99. Lots of people just cough up the money and figure it is part of the vacation, but it truly doesn’t have to be!
Here is where I commonly get Disney souvenirs to take with us and bring out once we are there:
- Dollar Tree and Target for markers, stickers, glow sticks, etc.
- Second-hand clothing sites such as Swap.com and Schoola for Disney t-shirts or pajamas
- Target, Walmart and Children’s Place also have Disney clothing
- Occasionally DisneyStore.com will offer nice deals
Through tomorrow The Disney Store is offering 30% off all Disney Parks products plus free shipping as long as there is a Disney Parks product in your order.
For example, get this Official Walt Disney World Autograph Book for
$5.56 plus free shipping. I think they are around $12 in the parks. Having characters sign the book when you meet them is a great way to relive memories once you are home!
Or this Mickey Mouse tee for boys is
$13.29 after the 30% off and free shipping. A little expensive for a t-shirt in my book, but WAY better than $29.95 and the quality of Disney Parks items is excellent, far better then what you will get at Target.
Good luck grabbing some souvenirs before you leave home!
