I just learned that Amazon Prime members are able to share their membership with up to four other people, even if they don’t reside in your house! They won’t be able to use the free streaming of movies and music, but they can use the free shipping which is a huge benefit!

You can only share these benefits if you pay full price for your Amazon Prime membership, so if you are a student member you won’t be able to share your membership. To add a household member to your account, use this link to visit your Manage Your Prime Membership page, which looks like this: 2015-03-16 14_43_01-Amazon.com_ Your Amazon Prime Membership

Scroll down to bottom of this page and you should see an option to “Invite a Household Member”. There you will enter the name, address and email address of the person with whom you want to share your membership. They will receive an email invitation to share your membership and they will have to be able to confirm your date of birth! I hope this helps your family best utilize your Amazon Prime benefits.
