My husband finally decided on his Father’s Day meal-of-choice today… grilled chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans. I think he would eat this every day if I offered it. He is definitely a meat and potatoes kind of man.
We are starting to get tomatoes from our garden and I already have a yellow squash pile-up from our neighbor’s garden. A pile of squash on the counter is a normal sight in our kitchen all summer… can anyone relate?
Also my sister is arriving this week for a visit and I am beyond excited! We are going out to a local Creole place on Friday night to celebrate.
Here are some recipes I’m making this week… hope you find some inspiration!
